We are two Registered Nurses with a combined 36 years of experience. We have a passion for learning and travel. For years we have been seeking out continuing education opportunities that will allow us to combine those two passions. Through Destination Education, we will create those experiences and share them with our fellow nurses.

Patricia Rainville, BSN, RN, CEN, PHN

Pat has worked as an emergency nurse for 20 years. The remainder of her 28 years in nursing have been in the critical care and medical-surgical areas. Prior to becoming a nurse, Pat worked for six years in broadcast journalism.
Jeannine Freeman, MSN, RN, FNP-BC
Vice-President and Co-Founder Destination Education LLC
Jeannine works as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult and Family Medicine, caring for patients of all ages. During summer vacations she provides medical support to kids with Type 1 diabetes on backpacking trips throughout the Sierras. Prior to becoming a nurse, Jeannine was in the fitness industry and worked as a video producer for NASA.

What a concept! Travel and earn CEUs? After attending 2 conferences with DE I can tell you it is worth every penny! Destination Education is “all-inclusive” (conference/accommodations, many meals and good swag) making tuition reimbursement very simple; DE team will even guide you in the process. The topics have been varied, relevant and speak to many disciplines. Speakers combined tough topics (Covid, fires) with compassion, thoughtfulness and humor. Pat and Jeannine have put together an amazing concept. Well organized, helpful staff and locations have been exceptional! (Lake Tahoe and Kauai). In my 28 years as an RN I’ve been to a lot of conferences and CEU classes. Destination Education’s May 2022 Kauai trip (Spring Nurse Conference: Emergency and Acute Care Update) was one of the best. These are experienced nurses putting together education conferences that are just perfect. Great speakers, relevant up-to date education, and opportunities to interact with other health care providers. I learned a lot. Best of all, it was beachside in Kauai! Other destinations so far are Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Sedona. Lectures are in the morning, giving plenty of time to explore these great places later in the day. Hotel, a welcome dinner, and breakfasts are all rolled in. This is a great way to use your education benefits.
